| Annual YVR District Pension Meeting |

Please mark your calendars for Thursday, September 16, 2010, and plan to attend YVR District’s annual pension information meeting. This will take place at the Scottish Cultural Centre hall in Marpole:

The meeting begins at 10:00 AM sharp, but we suggest you arrive early for better parking. Our guest speakers will be Doug Elrick and Bruce Aubin from the Pionairs Pension sub-committee, and they will have the most up to date information for us. We also hope to have at least one other speaker but this will be confirmed at a later time. After the presentations, questions from the floor will take place, and we encourage you to bring along a pen and paper in case you wish to take notes.
The YVR District Executive Committee strongly encourages you to make every effort to attend. This is your once a year opportunity to inform yourself, as much as possible, about the state of your pension plan. As the National Pionairs executive is holding a meeting in YVR the day before, it is expected that most, if not all the National executive will also be attending our pension meeting.
If you don’t drive, or do not wish to drive, you can get to the Scottish Cultural Centre by a combination of Skytrain and bus. Take the Canada Line to the Marine Drive Station, and board the No. 10 Granville bus and get off at the Marpole Loop. Or take the Expo Line to 29th Station and board the No. 100 Marpole Loop bus, or from anywhere along Granville, take the No. 10 Granville bus southbound to Marpole Loop. Walk a block plus a little bit north of the Loop on Hudson Street to 73rd Avenue.
