FedEx, Air Canada’s preferred courier provider, offers all active and retired Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz, Air Canada Vacations and Destina employees, with a minimum of six months service, a discount on all FedEx-Express shipments. This Discount does NOT apply to FedEx-Ground Shipments.

To take advantage of this service, the Retiree or Retiree Spouse must present a valid Air Canada I.D. Card (or photocopy), or a recent Pension Stub and Government Photo I.D., at any of the MAIN FedEx shipment locations.

Savings can be as much as 75% . This discount is non-transferable to family members or friends. The discount does NOT apply to COD shipments.

Plan to avoid the crunch times of the day; drop your shipments off between 10A.M. and 2 P.M

• It has been reported in the past, that some employees and retirees may have abused this discount offer, involving the FedEx Agents. We as Pionairs are very troubled by hearing of these incidents. These will lead to a discontinuation of this generous discount service, if the abuse prevails.
• As with many discounts offers, we are recommend that retirees exercise care and respect when within the FedEx offices. Many other customers in the shipping office are paying full fare and should be respected.
• All efforts should be made to assist the FedEx Agents when processing your shipment. Show your appreciation, by dropping off a small token, i.e.. a small box of chocolates, a small box of cookies. You are enjoying a substantial saving by being able to access this service.

All Discounts apply to shipments made ONLY on Air Canada services. Discounts apply to the Basic Rate and do NOT include charges  i.e. Terminal, Customs, delivery, Insurance.
